Bringing Home a Sapling

So you’ve decided you’d like to bring home a tiny woodland creature of your own. Excellent choice.

Finding the right Sapling is a little bit like finding the right hiking trail. Every family is different, every kitten is different, and the best matches happen when personalities, lifestyles, and expectations align. The first step is completing an application. Once reviewed, we’ll schedule a Facetime or video call so you can meet the Saplings, ask questions, and confirm that Dreamwoods is indeed a real place run by a real human with real Maine Coons, and not a suspiciously elaborate woodland conspiracy.

When you’ve found the Sapling that has completely stolen your heart, a $500 deposit is required to reserve them. Deposits are submitted through PayPal with buyer protection for added peace of mind.

The remaining balance is due when you receive your kitten. For local forest deliveries, your Sapling will be safely in your arms before final payment is made. Cash and Zelle are accepted upon delivery.

Until then, your future household supervisor will remain here in the Dreamwoods, growing bigger, fluffier, and increasingly convinced that the world revolves around them.

Pricing

Dreamwoods Saplings are priced at $2,500–$3,000 for females and $3,500 for males. All Saplings are placed in loving forever forests as cherished companions and are sold without breeding rights.

What’s Included?

Every Sapling leaves the Dreamwoods with a carefully packed travel bag and everything they need to begin their next great adventure. To help them settle into their forever forest, each kitten comes with:

Ready for Adventure

We know waiting for your Sapling can be difficult. We’ve seen the countdowns.

Saplings leave the Dreamwoods between 12 and 14 weeks of age so they have plenty of time to learn from their Willow, wrestle with their siblings, build confidence, and master the important skills every future household supervisor needs.

These extra weeks help ensure your Sapling arrives healthy, socialized, and ready to begin life in their forever forest. After all, mighty Oaks don’t grow overnight.

Journey To Your Forever Forest

No matter where you live, we do everything possible to ensure your Sapling arrives safely, comfortably, and without ever setting paw in cargo.

For families beyond our 100-mile personal delivery range, either the Dreamwoods fam or one of our trusted flight fairies will personally escort your Sapling to their forever forest. Additional travel costs apply depending on distance and travel requirements.

Northern California and Nevada are frequent forest destinations and may occasionally be available at little or no additional cost because our Saplings seem to LOVE moving there. You’re also welcome to fly into any Southern California airport, where we will happily meet you with your newest family member in tow.

White Glove Delivery by Tractor (Up to 200 Miles)

  • $2.00 per mile (one way)

Flight Fairy Service (Over 200 Miles)

  • $550-$850 depending on location

While our Saplings may be adventurous, they still prefer first-class treatment.
