Olimpia approaches life with two important principles:

1. Know what touched you.

2. Hide your snacks.

The first principle explains why she spins toward whichever side of her body is being petted. Left side? Turn left. Right side? Turn right. She appears unwilling to proceed with the day until the source of the contact has been visually confirmed.

The second principle involves her ongoing efforts to bury unfinished meals beneath her blanket. Despite years of evidence that food bowls are extremely easy to locate, Olimpia remains convinced she has developed an effective food-hiding system. Every morning she carefully covers her leftovers, and every morning her blanket emerges looking like it participated in a minor natural disaster.

Echocardiogram: Completed December 24, 2025 and all was well.

Hip X-rays: Taken December 19th, 2025 no evidence of hip dysplasia.
